About our club
Caulfield Judo Club building was built as a dojo with a sprung floor by Arthur Moorshead on his arrival from England in 1961. There are 3 contest areas of European championship mats permanently laid.The club is on the Carnegie tram line and the Frankston train line and is easily accessible by public transport.
Caulfield Judo Club members have achieved amongst others the following, Bronze medal at the Sydney Olympics, 5th placing at Athens Olympics, Gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and United States Open CHampionships, Silver medal at the Fukuoka Women's CHampionships and United States Open CHampionships, several medals at various European Championbships; Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Oceania Championships and innumerable National Champions and medallists and four Olympians. Caulfield Judo Club members welcome visitors at all training sessions.
