About our club
Western Judo Academy has been in existance for over 45 years with several instructors taking the helm in the running of the club over the years. The club has been very successful in the development of good judoka both in and out of the competitive arena, creating many champions and, most importantly, many happy, positive and confident young people. The club is currently run by three experienced black belt coaches with an aggregate total of over 100 years of judo experience between them. Whether you are a novice or an advanced competitive judoka, you are welcome to our club. Our highly experienced coaches will provide you with the training you need to develop high standard judo for competition or self defence, including physical and mental development.
